Celebrating over 100 years in the family, but with no realistic chance of further succession, the owners Instructed Avocet to find a buyer willing to match their financial plans for retirement.

Whilst generally speaking , what is wanted by an Owner, & what the market is willing to pay, generate a disappointing gap- however in this instance Avocet could see value to a Buyer.

In a very close market sector community, discreet approaches to prospective buyers were made, & different ideas of what was for sale,  explored.

Eventually an overseas buyer was found for this 900k turnover business, involving an element of “gentle” performance earnout & continued employment for 3 years - bang on the money!
